Here's a question from my working class neighbors: when (if ever) will Prairie participate in SOAR and other programs which provide scholarships for poor kids? To many rank-and-file residents of Racine, Prairie seems to be a cross between a tax shelter, an art school and a training facility for future SCJ six-figure income executives. Finding a genuine low-income student there is like searching for a hen's tooth. Just what does Prairie contribute to the community and how many poor youngsters does it educate?
