• Foreign Film Series – Free screenings on the second Saturday of each month begin at 5 p.m. JavaVino offers appetizers, wine and coffee for purchase during the film.The following films will be shown for August-November.

• Teen and adult poetry – Poetry Roundtable is held on the third Thursday from 7-9 p.m., focusing on contemporary American poetry and a different poet at each meeting. The next Poetry Roundtable will be on the fourth Thursday, Aug. 28. Visit the library's Poetry Roundtable webpage for information about each month's selected poet. • Storytelling – Families of children ages 8 and younger are invited to spend the first and third Saturday mornings from September through November with storytellers Library at JavaVino. The next Saturday Stories will be held Sept. 6 and 20 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and will feature storytelling with a simple craft. Enjoy a relaxing morning of breakfast fun with your children. This is a free event and no registration is necessary.
