Jeremy Scott and Higher Groove at the Monument

Music on the Monument will present the music of Jeremy Scott and Higher Groove on Friday, Aug. 15. The free concert will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Monument Square.

Born in 1982, saxophonist Jeremy Scott has been playing jazz and gospel music for 12 years. He picked up the saxophone at the age of 8. Jeremy has also traveled throughout the United States and Europe, opening for Smokey Robinson and Tuck & Patty and performed for President George W. Bush at UW-Milwaukee.

Music at the Monument is celebrating its sixth anniversary of free summer concerts at Monument Square, Chairs and umbrellas are provided; in the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Red Onion Cafe located at 555 Main Street (inside The Johnson Building).

Music on the Monument is presented by the Downtown Racine Corporation and funded in part by a grant from the Racine Arts Council, Racine United Arts Fund and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
