Radioactive Squirrels at the Monument

Radioactive Squirrels will perform at Music on the Monument on Friday, July 18. The free concert will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Monument Square.

Radioactive Squirrels perform classic rocks songs with an unconventional edge. The band, which has been together since 2004, includes John Schuld (guitars, harmonica, tambourine, clave and vocals), Aaron James (guitars, vocals), Jess Austin (drums, rotoms, harmonica, cowbell, vocals) and Pat “The Ghostman” Harris (guitars, shakers, vocals).

Radioactive Squirrels has performed at many Wisconsin festivals and stages throughout Chicago. The band also has participated in many community fund-raising events such as Thoughts for Food, Jammin’ For the Arts, Kenosha’s Retro at the Rhode and more.

Music at the Monument is celebrating its sixth anniversary of free summer concerts at Monument Square. Chairs and umbrellas are provided. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Red Onion Cafe located at 555 Main Street (inside The Johnson Building).

Music on the Monument is brought to you by the Downtown Racine Corporation, funded in part by a grant from the Racine Arts Council, Racine United Arts Fund and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
