Grammy-winning percussionist and band leader Poncho Sanchez’s will perform on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Racine Zoo. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gates for this world-renown artist known for his blend of Latin jazz, funk, and classic R &B.. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.
"Poncho Sanchez is a great story-teller. His congas do the talking, adding spark and sizzle to his smooth jams,” said David Maack, President of the Animal Crackers Committee.
