Gocks take over TeenSpace at Library

What the heck's a Gock, you say? They're only the coolest gothic sock puppets ever to come out of a teen's imagination! Teens 11-17 are invited to release their sock's inner Goth and see what creatures emerge at a free TeenSpace event in the Martin Room at the Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., on Friday, July 25, from 4-5:30 p.m.

Socks needing an identity will be provided, but you are encouraged to search your drawers for stray and wayward socks needing attention. Clean socks recommended! Creative supplies to aid in the transformations will be available.

This event is sponsored by TeenSpace Leadership, a group of teens whose goals are to create unique and exciting programs for the teens at the library, to recommend teen materials to library staff, and to assist the library in the development of teen services. New members are always welcome!
