From 6-9 p.m., shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants are open with special offerings and demonstrations. There will be live music on the streets and in the stores, horse drawn carriage rides through Downtown and the Harborfest Beverage Garden in Monument Square.
Outdoor entertainment is scheduled throughout Downtown Racine:

* Racine Optical, at 217 6th St., will offer SafeAssured ID's free to Racine County residents age 55 and older. This free service is being provided through the Volunteer Center of Racine County.
* Artists Gallery, 312 6th St., will host an opening reception for Racine artist Thom Petersen. In addition, a 2008 "Fortwo" Smart Car will be on display outside of the Gallery.
* Free admission into RAM
* Fired Up will host a children's painting party for kids ages 7 and up.
* And, of course, the 74 spheres of Downtown Racine's 7th annual public art project -- Sphere Madness -- will be on display.
* The Racine Heritage Museum will present a video photo retrospective on Racine's Fourth of July Parades which includes photos dating back to 1917. Each visitor to the museum will receive a patriotic treat.
* Generations Portrait Studio will host a photo shoot contest. Guests are invited in for a free mini photography session. The three top favorites will get displayed in Generations' showcase the following month.
