She has participated in WSMA Solo & Ensemble, Wisconsin State Honors Orchestra, and the UW-Milwaukee High School Honors Orchestra. She played in the Racine Philharmonia summer orchestra for three years, after being invited to join by conductor Ralph Lane, who judged her first audition for the RSO Concerto Competition in 2005. She helped organize the Case High School quintet and participated in it throughout high school. Recently Alex began studying with Lewis Rosove, viola professor at UW-Milwaukee, and plans to study at the university and major in viola performance.
