Spectrum Gallery, located in the East Building of the historic DeKoven Center, Racine, will hold a reception for the Black and White Show, on Thursday, May 22, from 6:30 – 9 p.m.
The open invitational show features a variety of drawings, paintings, photography and sculpture. Exhibiting artists are: Thomas Aviles, Bill Berggren, Paul Brisko, Carol Doughty, Harley Hess, Sheri Hess, Michael Johnson, Bill Koepke, Heidi Koepke, Missy Koepke, James A. Kipfer, Christina Kuestad, Paul Langford, Anne Moore Lasch, Mark M, John Mazurek, Mary Mollerskov, Tony Rosati, Gordon Simons, Y. Underscore, Suellyn Woodall, Denise Zingg and Jennifer Zygmunt.
In addition, James A. Kipfer will present and lead a discussion about The Merits of Black and White Photography at 7 p.m. This is the first in a series of ArtTalks at Spectrum Gallery. The public is invited and refreshments will be served. The show runs through June 8.
